DexCare Acquires Mila Health, Extending AI Agents From Scheduling to Care Coordination

Unified Platform Combinations Incorporate Autonomous AI and Regulated Information to Bridge Care Gaps, Streamline Complicated Situations, and Accomplish Multi-Phase Patient Experiences. DexCare Inc. Today revealed the purchase of Mila Health (Mila), a firm specializing in AI-driven care coordination.

Their agents communicate with patients through calls, texts, and chats, ensuring they are scheduled, prepared, and attended to. Mila utilizes DexCare’s access data model, which has been tested with over 10 million bookings, to standardize scheduling data and institutional knowledge into one rulebook for any service line under the health system’s management.

CEO Matt Blosl of DexCare stated, “Mila provides a voice for our data, and our data guides Mila’s direction.” AI solutions can be found in numerous places, but healthcare organizations come to the conclusion that constructing the framework, expanding the trial, and controlling the limitations of the agent are impractical. Many agents are deficient in contextual understanding, which enables them to connect a health system and comprehend the connections between service lines.

Additionally, they are unable to grasp the subtleties and preferences of staff, locations, and providers. Our agent can mimic human conversation effortlessly, but it also comprehends the intricacies of the healthcare sector it represents. “Mila collaborates with DexCare to integrate our navigation intelligence, which determines where, when, and how to assist a patient, with agents that execute these actions, such as contacting individuals who have missed appointments, guiding them through procedures, and checking on their well-being post-procedure,” Blosl further explained.
