(Photo by Shane Snider)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"ContentText ContentText_variant_h2 ContentText_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-text\">Juniper Takes Center Stage in AI Networking<\/h2>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">HPE highlighted Juniper-based networking products positioned for AI training and inference environments, including the QFX5220 switch for large-scale AI clusters and the QFX5130 platform for distributed inference deployments. Neri also outlined plans to integrate Juniper networking into HPE\u2019s AI factory architecture, extending the networking stack from training clusters to data center interconnects and distributed enterprise environments.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Industry analysts said the keynote represented HPE\u2019s clearest articulation of how Juniper fits into its long-term AI strategy.<\/p>\n<p data-component=\"related-article\" class=\"RelatedArticle\">Related:<a class=\"RelatedArticle-RelatedContent\" href=\"https:\/\/www.datacenterknowledge.com\/infrastructure\/hpe-s-andrew-desrochers-on-why-efficiency-is-now-an-it-planning-imperative\" target=\"_self\" data-discover=\"true\">HPE Interview: Why Data Center Efficiency Is Now Core to IT Decisions<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">\u201cI think HPE is very definitely now a networking company,\u201d said Steven Dickens, CEO and principal analyst at HyperFrame Research. \u201cWe saw really clearly that networking is a core tenet of the company.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Ron Westfall, vice president and practice lead for networking and infrastructure at HyperFrame Research, said HPE\u2019s ability to combine networking, compute, storage, and cloud technologies could become a differentiator as enterprises move from AI experimentation to production deployments. \u201cIt\u2019s a way for HPE to sharply define a strategic vision while also demonstrating portfolio-wide competitive advantages,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Westfall noted that the acquisition was intended to create tighter integration between networking and compute infrastructure. \u201cOne of the prime reasons for acquiring Juniper was to have a compelling vision that combines the compute and networking sides into one solution set,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">The integration effort appears to be progressing smoothly, according to Dickens.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019ve seen a lot of acquisitions at that scale fail because of the egos in the boardroom,\u201d Dickens said. \u201cAntonio has done a really good job of executing on that.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"ContentText ContentText_variant_h2 ContentText_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-text\">Building the \u201cAgentic Enterprise\u201d: Governance for AI at Scale<\/h2>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">Beyond networking, Neri spent significant time outlining HPE\u2019s vision for enterprises operating large numbers of AI agents. The company announced updates to its Private Cloud AI platform, adding governance, security, and operational management capabilities for agent-based systems across enterprise environments. According to the company, the platform analyzes telemetry across networking, cloud, storage, and compute to identify issues, recommend actions, and automate tasks. It is being integrated into Aruba Central and other GreenLake services to assist with network operations, virtual machine migrations, capacity planning, and troubleshooting.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"ContentText ContentText_variant_h2 ContentText_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-text\">Data Center Power Limits and AI Growth<\/h2>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">While networking dominated the keynote, Neri emphasized <a class=\"ContentText-BodyTextChunk ContentText-BodyTextChunk_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.datacenterknowledge.com\/energy-power-supply\/the-breaking-points-power-emerges-as-ai-s-defining-limit\" target=\"_self\" data-discover=\"true\">power availability<\/a> as a defining constraint on AI growth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">\u201cAt its core, an AI factory is doing one thing: turning electrons into tokens,\u201d Neri said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ContentParagraph ContentParagraph_align_left\" data-testid=\"content-paragraph\">During the media Q&amp;A, he noted that large AI developers are increasingly investing directly in energy infrastructure to secure power for future deployments.
