HPE Puts Networking at the Center of AI at Discover 2026

Photography by Shane Snider. LAS VEGAS – In his Discover 2026 keynote on Tuesday, HPE CEO Antonio Neri emphasized the importance of networking in the AI era. He introduced AI networking updates powered by Juniper, expanded private AI offerings, and presented a broader vision known as the “agentic enterprise.” HPE’s inaugural Discover took place after the company purchased Juniper Networks for $14 billion.

The majority of significant revelations, encompassing AI materials, data center interconnects, GreenLake automation, and self-operating network operations, were associated with a fundamental subject: networking is evolving into the command framework for AI foundation, as affirmed by the organization. Neri expressed, “There is dependably one fundamental component of your foundation that contacts everything.” “The fundamental component is the network.”
