Duos Edge AI to provide 10MW of capacity for five years to “investment-grade hyperscaler”

Duos Edge AI has signed a five-year agreement with an unknown “investment-grade hyperscaler” to provide 10MW of capacity from its data center campus in Columbus, Georgia.. The company said that this would be worth more than $111 million over the five-year term, beginning in Q4 2026.. – Duos Edge AI.

This effectively takes the campus’ capacity up to 20MW from 10MW, which was the campus’ contracted capacity after Duos signed an agreement to provide neocloud Nistar with 2MW of capacity earlier this month.. In the same announcement, Duos also said that it had completed a $55 million raise to support the acquisition of the Columbus facility..

Launched in 2024, Duos Edge is a subsidiary of rail technology firm Duos Technologies.. The company has also installed several Edge pods in rural locations across Texas, as well as sites in Westchester, Illinois, and Jacksonville, Florida. Its pods total 15 racks and 300kW per container, and Duos Edge says that they can be deployed in as little as 90 days.

The firm is also targeting a higher-density container offering 1-2.5MW.. The most recent presentation from the company said it aimed to have some 65 pods and 20MW of capacity deployed by the end of 2026, and 250 pods totaling 60MW of capacity by 2028.. More in North America.
