During this quarter, significant companies such as Colt, Stream, and Vantage Data Centers have appointed key personnel to assist their extensive growth plans. At the same time, infrastructure providers and service companies are strengthening their leadership teams to handle the rising intricacy of power, sustainability, and edge computing requirements.
This pertains to Data Center Operations. Kazuhiko Nakayama has been named as the President and Chief Executive Officer of NTT Data Group, marking a change in the company’s management structure. Nakayama had previously held the position of CFO at the renowned global tech services and digital infrastructure company, before taking over from Yutaka Sasaki who subsequently assumed the role of Senior Executive Vice President at NTT.
In the wake of its acquisition by Apollo Funds, Stream Data Centers, a leading wholesale colocation provider, has bolstered its executive team with the addition of two pivotal personnel. Murray Woolcock has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer to manage the capital strategy and financial operations.
Simultaneously, Scott Greubel, who has been with DPR Construction for 25 years, assumes the role of Executive Vice President of Construction. The two leaders, who formerly collaborated with Stream as freelance workers, will shift their focus to expanding the company’s design and construction protocols in order to address the rapidly growing demand for hyperscale services.
In related news, there have been recent appointments in the field of data centers and cloud applications. The Keel Infrastructure Corporation has appointed Ganesh Aiyer as President, with the responsibility of leading the company’s efforts in expanding its commercial and pipeline segments.
