Mantle DC launches GPUaaS with 144 Blackwell GPUs

A new GPU-as-a-Service provider has launched in the US.. Dubbed Mantle DC, the company launched its offering last week, announcing it had 144 Blackwell GPUs “live and ready” on LinkedIn.. – Mantle DC via LinkedIn. According to the company, its offering has been in the works for just five months.. “In January, we assembled the engineering team.

In February, we finalized the data center design. In March, we had the keys. In April, network connectivity came online.

Today, we have 144 Blackwell GPUs live and ready,” Mantle DC wrote.. The deployment is located in the Pacific Northwest and comprises two Nvidia NVL72 racks with 1.2PB of all-flash storage.. The company describes itself as a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company spanning data center development and GPUaaS..

Mantle DC was founded in 2025 and is headquartered in San Francisco, California. It was founded by Zaid Khan, who previously chaired the Open Compute Project board, with Jordan Friedman serving as CEO.. More in Cloud & Hyperscale.
