Ilant is transforming obesity care by turning fragmented, isolated treatments into a seamless, ongoing service capable of producing results at scale. The Company functions as an AI-powered healthcare services provider that applies a precision medicine framework to obesity treatment, dynamically adjusting individualized care pathways over the long term. Ilant Tackles the Main Drivers of Obesity-Related Healthcare Costs, Delivering Both Clinical and Financial Benefits Through Personalized Care Models that Create Value and Cut Unnecessary Spending. Ilant Health, a value-based obesity care provider that partners with employers and health plans to improve clinical outcomes and lower overall healthcare costs, has secured $15 million in Series A funding, bringing its total capital raised to more than $22 million. The round was led by Cornucopian Capital, with participation from naturalX, Peakbridge, Semcap AI, Evidenced, Operator Partners, and existing investors Celtic, LifeX, and AlphaLab. Founded by Elina Onitskansky (ex-McKinsey and Molina Healthcare), Ilant partners directly with employers and health plans to provide comprehensive, clinician-led care for obesity and its related conditions. Ilant generates tangible clinical and financial results, unlike solutions centered on access or cost containment, or piecemeal approaches that treat obesity and weight loss in isolation from overall health. Early data reveal that members achieve an average 15% weight loss—far exceeding the 5.8% seen in real-world settings—while also delivering measurable improvements in key biometrics, overall wellbeing, and an average of two extra mentally healthy days per month. These findings underscore Ilant’s ability to enhance results in ways that are clinically significant. The company achieves this by effectively controlling both treatment expenses and overall cost of care for employers and payers, resulting in a uniquely compelling value proposition.
