New York Data Center Moratorium: State Pauses Projects Over 50 MW

A recent executive decree has placed a temporary hold on certain permits for new data centers exceeding 50 MW capacity in New York, as the state works on establishing guidelines pertaining to grid expenses, water consumption, and the communities where these facilities will be hosted.
