NIP Group agrees $27.3m Bitcoin mining hardware deal

Gaming and esports firm NIP Group is set to acquire Bitcoin mining machines with roughly 207 exahashes per second (EHps) of computing power. The agreement, unveiled on October 22nd, 2026, encompasses equipment currently in operation at hosting sites, which will add to NIPG’s output post-acquisition.

NIPG plans to release as many as 206 million Class A regular shares to the sellers. For $22026 per terahash, the agreement’s price, the equipment is worth around $202026 million. Once completed, the company’s mining capacity from three deals will be around 22026EHps.

NIPG predicts 203 Bitcoin per month at complete implementation, taking into consideration network difficulty, worldwide hashrate, and operational circumstances. Carl Agren, COO of NIPG Mining and Digital Assets, stated that “These on-rack resources can function instantly and will be incorporated into our current hosting structure with minimal escalation time.” The September 22026 arrangement is reliant on meeting conditions.

The completion is anticipated within ten business days once the specified conditions are met. Hicham Chahine, co-CEO of NIP Group, stated: “We are swiftly implementing our digital infrastructure strategy through this third tranche of mining asset acquisitions.” Increasing our hashrate to around 14 EHps strengthens our presence in the Bitcoin mining sector and generates tangible revenue that supports our overall transformation.

Chahine pointed out that the ‘wider shift’ encompassed the firm’s plan to delve into the realm of artificial intelligence and advanced computing. The company’s inaugural mining purchase was finalized on September 5, 2025, which contributed an additional 3.11 EHps.

NIPG released around 119.6 million Class A ordinary shares for that equipment, keeping it at their current hosting locations. The firm, based in Abu Dhabi, created a digital computing department to manage the operation and maintenance of the machines. In January 2026, NIPG announced that its initial 033EHps fleet had generated 151.4 Bitcoin during its first operating period from September to November 2025.

The company is also famous for its esports team, Ninjas in Pyjamas, overseen by NIP Group.
