Vertiv has completed its acquisition of Italian cooling specialist ThermoKey. The data center power and cooling leader first announced the deal in March. This acquisition broadens Vertiv’s thermal management portfolio and strengthens its manufacturing footprint across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Vertiv already incorporates ThermoKey’s technologies in certain thermal solutions. Such technologies encompass heat-exchange solutions, dry coolers, and compatibility with low-GWP and natural refrigerants. “Customers are expanding AI infrastructure at an unprecedented speed, making thermal performance a vital driver of capacity and efficiency,” said Giordano Albertazzi, CEO of Vertiv. “By adding ThermoKey, we are enhancing our ability to provide differentiated, integrated, high-performance heat rejection solutions that enable faster deployment, greater operational efficiency, and confident scaling.” Giuseppe Visentini, CEO of ThermoKey, will remain at the helm of the business. “Joining Vertiv allows us to integrate our heat-exchange know-how into a comprehensive, end-to-end thermal solution tailored for high-density data centers,” he said. “We share the same engineering rigor and customer-centric approach as Vertiv.” ThermoKey is joining Vertiv on its path of sustained growth. From Italy, we will keep building on that momentum and strengthening the group across EMEA and worldwide. 6. Februar 2026
