We recognize that this project generated significant public interest and that many Lovejoy residents took the time to attend meetings, ask questions, share concerns, and participate in the public process.
We appreciate every Lovejoy resident who chose to engage respectfully and constructively,” said Mayor Marci Fluellyn in a press release on Thursday August 6.. “We respect the developer’s decision to withdraw its application and pursue an alternative vision for the property,” said Fluellyn..

It proposed the construction of up to 15 data center buildings, each covering 321,000 sq ft (29,820 sqm) for a total of 3.465 million sq ft (321,910 sqm)..
Energy utility company Central Georgia EMC was set to provide the grid connection, and documents indicated that it could have totaled 1.25GW of capacity.. Part of the Stillwater family of companies, Stillwater Development provides land selection and development services. Listed projects on its website are mainly residential community developments..
