Australian neocloud Sharon AI is touting a five-year, $373 million cloud contract with an unnamed AI platform.. This is the latest in a series of major contracts that the neocloud has secured.. – James Manning via LinkedIn. Just last month, Sharon AI said that it had secured a $1.32 billion contract with an unnamed AI lab.
It also signed a $950m cloud deal with an unnamed company in May, as well as a $1.25bn deal with ESDS Software Solutions in April.. All of these contracts are also set to last for five years.. Sharon AI said that revenue from its most recent agreement would commence during Q1 2027, and that it had contracted 120MW of its data center capacity to its end users..
In the announcement of its previous deal, Sharon AI said that it had contracted 116MW to end customers, potentially indicating that Tuesday’s deal concerned 4MW of data center capacity.. The cloud contract would be taken up in Australia, said the company.. Sharon AI went public in February to fund the acquisition and deployment of GPUs, listing at $30 per share.
