Corvex targets 8MW of AI cloud capacity by end of 2026

Corvex, an AI compute platform, has secured funding to expand its capacity to 8MW.. The company has secured $33 million from a private placement of common stock and a Series D funding round to support its expansion plans from its current 1.5MW footprint.. – Corvex. According to the company, it will double the capacity at its existing data center in the Mid-Atlantic region and will establish operations at another data center in the Midwest.

This will increase its capacity to 8MW, with a target date by the end of 2026.. This will include bringing 2,000 of the “latest-generation” of GPUs online at the Midwest site, and 1,000 additional GPUs to the Mid-Atlantic site. Which specific GPUs this will comprise has not been stated, but Corvex’s website lists Nvidia B300, GB200, B200, and H200 GPUs as available on its platform..

Corvex expects to start generating revenue from these deployments from Q1 of 2027.. In addition, Corvex has the right of first refusal on an additional 12.5MW of capacity at the Midwest site, which would be ready for service in Q3 of 2027, which could thus bring the company’s footprint to more than 20MW.. “The scarce input in AI infrastructure is energized power inside a finished building.

We have secured more than five times as much of it, with the right to scale to more than 20 megawatts in 2027,” said Jay Crystal, co-CEO and co-founder of Corvex.. Corvex’s funding round was led by Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, with Morgan Stanley and Oppenheimer & Co. acting as Joint Lead Placement Agents.

A portion of the proceeds will also go towards the development of the Corvex Token Factory offering, currently in closed alpha, which aims to give customers access via API to open-source AI models.. “As inference volumes grow, enterprises are paying much closer attention to the cost of serving AI at scale. Token Factory is built to address that cost by offering near-frontier performance on most enterprise workloads at a fraction of the price per million tokens of frontier proprietary models,” said Seth Demsey, co-CEO and co-founder of Corvex. “The differentiation will be in the infrastructure and security layer beneath the API.

Integrating our Assured AI security capabilities directly into the inference platform gives customers a way to combine lower-cost inference with greater control over sensitive prompts and model weights.”. Corvex was formerly Movano, a company behind the fitness tracker the “Evie Ring.” In November 2025, Movano announced plans to merge with Corvex, thus assuming the Corvex name when the merger was completed on March 19, 2026.
