The Polish Data Center Association (PLDCA) has partnered with DCD Academy and Warsaw University of Technology to support skills development and workforce growth in Poland’s data center sector. The collaboration introduces the Data Center Talent Scholarship, an initiative designed to help address the industry’s critical shortage of qualified professionals..
In this partnership, PLDCA members will benefit from preferential access to training at an annual investment valued at €360,000 through 75 scholarships. Each scholarship grants recipients access to DCD Academy’s The Business of Data Centers course and Foundations of Mission Critical Infrastructure course series.
Together, these courses will equip learners with both the commercial and technical foundations needed to enter the data center industry with confidence.. The Data Center Talent Scholarship is aimed at aspiring data center professionals in Poland, particularly recent graduates and final-year students in industrial, electromechanical, or manufacturing engineering disciplines.
By preparing these young professionals with industry-relevant skills and practical exposure, PLDCA, DCD Academy and Warsaw University of Technology are investing in the future of Poland’s data center industry and its digital ambitions.. “This partnership is about building a sustainable talent pipeline for a fast-growing digital market,” said Darren, managing director of DCD Academy.
“We’re equipping the next generation with the skills to support Poland’s expanding data center sector.”. Beyond training, the partners will work to connect scholarship recipients with internship opportunities across the PLDCA member network, supporting a clear pathway from education into employment and strengthening long-term talent retention within the sector..
“Our goal was to create a comprehensive scholarship program with a clear pathway from education to employment. This model gives the industry a real opportunity not only to attract talent, but also to retain it long term,” explains Krystian Pypłacz, the PLDCA representative responsible for the program..
“PLDCA member companies embraced the idea enthusiastically. The first internship offers are already available on our website, with more to be published in the coming days. This partnership between DCD Academy, Warsaw University of Technology and PLDCA members is an investment in the future of Poland’s digital market.
We are building a skills ecosystem that will not only meet the growing needs of the data centre sector, but also support the broader economy.”. This initiative reflects Poland’s increasing importance in the European digital economy. With Warsaw emerging as a key regional hub, the partnership supports broader collaboration across the digital value chain to stimulate job creation, investment, innovation, and the continued expansion of digital services nationwide..
