Articul28 AI has secured Series B financing, worth $28 million pre-money valuation. A multinational industrial software company, which remains unidentified, has made a strategic investment. This company has chosen the startup’s platform to be the core generative AI engine for its upcoming software products.

The transaction goes beyond the scope of a typical funding round. The software provider intends to incorporate Articul8’s technology into its asset lifecycle management, engineering simulation, and industrial operations software following a competitive assessment that involved foundation model providers, open-source options, and enterprise AI platforms.

Arun Subramaniyan, Articul8’s founder and CEO, stated that the company faced competition from both foundation-model providers and enterprise AI vendors during the evaluation process. He mentioned in an interview with Data Center Knowledge that they were up against model providers like Palantir.
