Chinese green technology company Envision says that it has commissioned a 2GW campus in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia.. Envision, which specializes in wind turbines, energy storage, and green hydrogen, said last week that the campus’ 120,000 sqm (1,291,669 sq ft) data center would be “powered directly by renewable energy.”. – Envision Energy.

The company said in June that it was planning to build 5GW of green AI computing capacity in desert and arid regions worldwide by 2030. It is unclear whether the company has prior experience with data center projects.. Envision was founded in 2007 as a wind turbine company.
