Forza Horizon 6 will launch on PlayStation 5 on January 26, with its first expansion arriving alongside the console release, a trailer confirms.. Xbox-owned developer Playground Games had initially said the PS5 version would arrive this year. The January launch puts the release a few weeks beyond that window..
Playground will offer PS5 players a Premium Edition, matching the option available on Xbox and PC. It includes up to five days of early access.. Premium Edition owners will receive access to the first expansion, including players who upgrade from the standard edition.
Players without the Premium Edition will be able to buy the expansion separately.. Forza Horizon 6 debuted on Xbox and PC in May. The racing game adapts the formula developed in Forza Horizon 5 to a setting in Japan..
The PS5 release will arrive about a month before Playground’s next game, Fable. That title will launch on February 23 for Xbox Series X/S, PC and PS5.. Xbox’s current leadership has signaled a change in its approach to exclusivity.
Fable could be among the last Xbox games released on PlayStation outside of Call of Duty and possibly StarCraft.. Featured image credit. Tags: forza horizon 6ps5
