The company said the special edition console will not include a copy of Ocarina of Time, which will be sold separately. Nintendo announced the new Switch 2 colorway on the same day it gave fans a full reveal of the Ocarina of Time remake.. The console uses a gold and metallic green design, rather than the all-gold approach Nintendo used for the Echoes of Wisdom Switch Lite in 2024..
Nintendo’s teaser showed Joy-Con 2 controllers designed to catch and reflect light subtly. The left Joy-Con features a sprite of Link from the 1986 The Legend of Zelda holding the Triforce, while the right Joy-Con features a sprite of Zelda.. The dock is black and gold and carries a large Triforce motif.
Nintendo also plans to sell matching accessories on Oct. 29, including a carrying case with a screen protector, a Switch 2 Pro controller and a stand for the gamepad.. The accessories will be available while supplies last, alongside the new console colorway..
