Nvidia to invest $3bn in Meta’s $97.5bn equity offering, as social media giant plans to deploy more Nvidia hardware

Nvidia is set to invest $3 billion in Meta’s equity offering, as they strengthen their partnership through a focus on Meta’s AI agents known as the Muse family. They will work together to enhance inference and training performance, as well as reducing the overall cost of ownership.

This was announced by Nvidia. – Meta. According to the terms of the arrangement, Meta plans to increase its utilization of Nvidia hardware, encompassing Vera Rubin and Vera CPUs, Spectrum-X Ethernet networking technology, and BlueField-4 DPUs. In addition, the organizations mentioned they would explore more collaboration possibilities related to Nvidia’s OpenShell and Sentry products to ensure the secure implementation of AI agents.

Jensen Huang, the founder and CEO of Nvidia, stated that “AI agents are a novel computing model – software that comprehends our objectives, makes logical deductions, employs tools, and accomplishes tasks on our behalf.” This shift alters how we interact with computers, from managing applications to collaborating with intelligent agents. Nvidia and Meta are strengthening their collaboration to enhance the entire computing infrastructure for intelligent, effective, and secure AI agents.

This will enable Muse to facilitate billions of individuals in realizing their potential and striving for higher aspirations. On October 26, Meta announced an increase in the size of its planned equity offering to $213bn, according to recent reports. Out of the total amount, $25 billion will be obtained through the issuance of common stocks, with an extra $12.5 billion to be raised by selling 250 million convertible preferred depositary shares at $50 each.

Meta has also planned to sell around $60 billion worth of shares once its non-voting Class C shares commence trading in the first quarter of 2027. In September 2026, Meta launched its Muse AI agent. According to the company, it is a proactive personal AI agent that assists individuals with their objectives and proposes suggestions.

A specialized virtual machine (VM) supports both the agent and user data. Initially introduced to consumers via the Charm device, which resembles Tamagotchi, Meta has launched a Muse variant tailored for small and medium enterprises. This version integrates tools like Dropbox, Slack, and Zoom into Muse’s workflow.
