Stulz has launched updated versions of its air cooling systems for Edge data centers and telcos.. The new iterations of its TelAir and WallAir systems are designed to “meet the growing demands of 5G, Edge and critical infrastructure applications,” the vendor said.. The TelAir 4 series is designed for indoor installation, while the WallAir 4 can be mounted externally on a container wall.
Both are available in two standard enclosure sizes and four cooling capacity classes, ranging from 6kW-17kW, the company added.. Stulz hopes the systems will provide “reliable cooling for telecommunications containers, shelters, radio stations, and Edge data centers.”. Anika Do, product manager at Stulz, said: “For the fourth generation of the TelAir and WallAir cooling series, we set out to create two distinct cooling solutions that deliver outstanding flexibility across a wide range of Edge, 5G and critical infrastructure applications..
“By combining cutting-edge technology with modern design, ease of use, energy efficiency and reliability, we have achieved that goal.”. The new Stulz units are available to order now. They build on last year’s launch of an air-cooled side pod for Edge data centers.
