FERC Targets Grid Rules for Data Centers and Large Loads

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has granted six grid operators a deadline of 60 days to either provide justification for their large-load tariffs or revise them. Additionally, these operators have been given 30 days to outline their plans for meeting the increasing power demands of AI.
