Instagram is rolling out a feature that lets users add posts they are tagged in directly to their main profile grid.. Users can add a tagged post from the direct message notification sent when they are tagged, from the post itself, or through the Tagged tab on their profile.. The original post does not move, duplicate or get deleted when it is added to a user’s grid.
Users can also remove the post from their profile later without removing it from the Tagged tab.. Instagram said the feature could help creators display posts they were tagged in without reposting the same content or using the “Invite collaborators” option.. The company said the tool could also be used in brand campaigns involving multiple creators who want to feature the same tagged content on their profiles..
The update follows Instagram’s “Reorder your grid” feature, introduced in June, which allows users to rearrange content on their main profile grid.. Instagram has also added other creation and management tools, including “First Draft,” which automatically trims selected video clips, removes pauses and assembles an initial edit..
The company has also launched “Replace Audio,” a tool that lets users change the music on an existing post.. Featured image credit. Tags: Instagram
