Michael Terrell, who served as Google’s global head of advanced energy, has left the company after 19 years.. – Sebastian Moss. Writing on LinkedIn, Terrell said: “It has been the thrill of a lifetime to help drive this transformation. In addition to being the company’s head of advanced energy, he also spent three years as its senior director of clean energy and carbon reduction, more than a year as its director of energy, and two years as its director of operations and head of energy market strategy..

Before joining Google, Terrell was an associate attorney at the law firm Van Ness Feldman, where he specialized in energy and climate change law and policy..
